PriorArtCheck.com is operated by Multa Facta LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using our website or purchasing a report, you agree to these terms.

1. What We Provide

PriorArtCheck.com provides AI-assisted prior art search reports and patentability assessments. Our reports are informational tools designed to help you make informed decisions about your invention.

2. Not Legal Advice

Our reports are not legal advice. We are not a law firm. Our reports do not constitute an attorney-client relationship. We are not a substitute for a registered patent attorney or agent. For legal decisions about your intellectual property, consult a qualified patent attorney.

3. Report Tiers & Delivery

  • Discovery Report ($149): Prior art search + patentability assessment
  • Launch Ready ($299): Discovery + claims mapping + freedom-to-operate analysis
  • Provisional Bundle ($499): Launch Ready + drafted provisional application + attorney consultation

Reports are delivered via email within 1 business day of payment. If we need clarification about your invention, we'll contact you first, and the delivery clock pauses until you respond.

4. Accuracy & Limitations

We use AI tools and patent databases to conduct thorough searches, but no prior art search is exhaustive. We may not find every relevant patent, application, or publication. Our patentability assessments reflect our best analysis but are not guarantees of patentability or freedom to operate.

5. Refund Policy

  • Before report delivery: Full refund, no questions asked.
  • After report delivery: If you're unsatisfied with the quality of the report, contact us within 14 days at support@priorartcheck.com. We'll either revise the report or issue a full refund.

6. Your Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your invention. We claim no ownership, license, or rights to any idea, concept, or invention you submit. See our Confidentiality Agreement for details on how we protect your information.

7. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. All prices are in USD.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multa Facta LLC's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific report in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, patent prosecution costs, or investment decisions made based on our reports.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Multa Facta LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our reports or any patent-related decisions you make based on our analysis.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
